Hello Jade Lee fans! There's so much to tell you all that I don't know where to start!
How about this...THANK YOU EVERYONE who voted for me in the PEARLs. I came in second place in Novella with “Kung Fu Shoes” (These Boots were made for Stomping anthology) and second place with Dragonborn in Best SF/F with Romantic Elements. Considering the competition, I'm more than thrilled, so THANK YOU ALL!
BTW, PEARL stands for Paranormal Excellence Award for Romantic Literature. Congratulations to Michele L. for entering my newsletter contest with that answer. Next...Dragonbound is out!!! WOO HOO!!! Finally, Sabina and Cordain's story goes out into the world. And let me say, it's probably the best book I've ever written. At least so far. Hopefully, I'm getting better. Anyway, Cordain is the Copper dragon, now a man. He's loved Sabina since she was a child, but she has less than fond memories of slaving away as his dragonmaid. Not a pleasant task, let me tell you, cleaning dragon teeth, dragon scales, dragon poop. Plus, her relationship with the former Emperor Dag Racho was not a nice relationship at all. But she needs something from Cordain, so she goes in search of him. And, oh yes, war is brewing against Ragona. Life is about to get very complicated for Sabina and Cordain. The last thing they need to do is fall in love!
There's lots of adventure in this book, but lots more romance. Lots of hot romance! I'm not sure I could even write a book now that wasn't sexy sexy! You can find excerpts on my website (both Chapter 1 and the sizzling hot excerpt), plus back cover copy, reviews and a link to buy!
For those who are looking to connect with me face to face, I'll be at the Romantic Times Convention in Orlando, Florida from April 20-26. Yup, I'm there the whole week, speaking almost constantly, and hanging out at the bar when I'm not. Congrats on the second place wins... your DRAGONBORN was really fine work.
I just got DRAGONBOUND over the weekend. I'm about to start chapter 8 when I get a breather. I love the structure and the mystical overtones... I love that about all your work. I got mine at Waldon Books, BTW, in Elkhart, IN. I looked at all of the onestops... Target, Walmart, etc, but I was disappointed there.
I love all your work (I started reading my first Tigress book in September and have since gone through most of your catalog. I look forward to reading your Kathrine Greyle works when I can find them.)and see the intricate weaving in this work, but DRAGON EARL is one of the best books I have ever read. You have such a grasp of Post Traumatic Stress... it is hard to describe and you do so poetically.
Anyway, your contest link said there was no current contest, and the other link wasn't working, but I wanted to write and express my appreciation for your work.

Thank you Lilith! I truly love Dragonbound, and I have had trouble writing something new because I am afraid I can't top it! But...I will try. Right now I get a break since I"m going to the Romantic Times Convention.
As for the contest...what??? The link doesn't work???? ACK! let me check this out. Either way, you're entered in the newsletter contest.

I wouldn't worry about topping anything. What does the Tao say about inaction? LOL Just be open... it will come and you have the talent to make it do about anything you choose. Have fun at your convention.
